Lisa turns 4 !

Today it's party time, Lisa is 4 years old. Mam and Pap gave her a trampoline and Bridget gave her a Dora puzzle and book.

In the afternoon she has a few visitors , opa Piet and oma Roely, Agnes, Maurice and Bas and aunt Tonnie. She got a lot of gifts from them. From opa and oma a Pipi Longstockings doll, Agnes, Maurice and Bas a jewellery box with a matching foto frame, a legging and a princess puzzel, from aunt Tonnie a ballerina Barbie. Because your grandparents from Ireland couldn't be here they sent a birthday card with money
as did Mike and Michelle
Opa Piet and oma Roely gave you a book with all the classics such as Cinderella and The sleeping beauty

Of course there was cake, but only after you blew out the candles and we had sung for you.

In the evening we had a BBQ ( The weather was perfect).

Last day at the creche

Today was Lisa's last day at the creche, Sunday she turns 4! Mama had decided that she would make Dora backpacks to give to the other kids in her group, A huge success according to the creche . Lisa got a book full of all the things she made while she was there. The last day was the best.

Sunny day

It was a lovely day today. Both of the girls wanted to play outside. We took the trike out of the garage for Bridegt. She wants to do everything herself, but in this case can't reach the pedals.

First schoolday

Finally, finally...., Lisa is allowed to go to school!!! This morning she went to the first"to-get-used-to-school" morning (next week she has another one), as they do call this event here.Before the school starts, Mama makes a picture and then it is time to go to the teacher and the other kids....From the 1st of May, Lisa will be attending the school officially

Easter

Sunday, after a visit at the swimming pool, Lisa searched Easter eggs in the garden.

Eater Monday opa Piet and oma Roely invited us for a Easter brunch, that was great fun and delicious.

Swinging

Lisa stayed at opa Piet and oma Roely for a few days. They both enjoy this a lot. In their garden Lisa discovered something really nice, a swing, which they got from the neighbours. Lisa enjoyed herself with this new toy.

Teeth

At the moment Bridget has got 6 teeth. Like most kids, the first two teeth were the middle ones at the bottom, after this all changed, her rightcorner tooth at the top arrived, followed by the leftcorner at the top. Only then the middle two teeth at the top came through. This gives the funny, unique photo below.
